Samara Necklace
Samaras are the little spinning seed pods that fall from maple trees and spin and coast as they fall. They are also sometimes called whirligigs or helicopters. These little seed pods are everywhere here in Vermont in the fall, and this necklace was inspired by their beautiful shapes, movement and balance. Hand hammered wire on a delicate chain with two cascading chain and hammered wire details in the center.
Chain lengths can be 16 or 18 inches.
Available in sterling silver, 14k gold fill, or mixed metal.
